Download - Setup Program for Windows

The program is available in 2 flavors: a MatLab code release, to be executed from the MatLab prompt, and a stand-alone release. The stand-alone release is available as MatLab source code for compilation with the MatLab compiler and, on Windows, as a ready-to-be-installed-and-run program. The installation (setup) program has been created with Inno Setup version 5.2.2, and Structural VAR can therefore also be uninstalled. The setup program can also install, if you so desire, 4 sets of examples with data to play with along with descriptions on how to set up models that have been estimated on these data. A readme.txt is included with this release with more detailed descriptions about these examples.

The first file above is simply the setup executable, while the second file is a zip file containing the setup executable. If you're behind a firewall which prevents downloading of executable files, the zipped version may come in handy.

NOTE: If you're using Windows XP as your operating system (also adviced for 2003 and Vista users), please check the Known Issues page prior to launching Structural VAR.
