Text print program.

By default SVAR sends text files to the printer with notepad /p on Windoze and with lpr on Un*x. This option allows you to select an alternative program for print. Also you can specify command line switches. On Windoze I use TxtPrint.

Text print command line switches.

On Windoze I use the switch /p with TxtPrint.

PostScript print program (stand-alone mode only).

To send graphics files to the printer, SVAR needs to have a printing program. On Windoze I use gsprint, which is bundled with GSview. Gsprint requires Ghostscript, but it does not require a PostScript printer!

PostScript print command line switches (stand-alone mode only).

For gsprint the switch -query to present a printer dialog. Other command line switches are also available for this program.

Ghostscript program (stand-alone mode only).

In order to save graphics into png, jpeg, pdf, etc., files SVAR relies on ghostscript. In addition, pstoedit requires ghostscript as well to perform its functions.

pstoedit program (stand-alone mode only).

To save graphics into Windoze enhanced metafiles, Windoze metafiles, and LaTeX2e's picture format you need to have pstoedit on your hard drive. This option lets you specify where the program is located.
